Whoopie Pie Day December 13, 2022 Justice & Mercy will be going into Lancaster County Prison again on December 13, 2022. We will be giving every single inmate and staff a large Whoopie Pie, a Christmas card, and a Christmas greeting by one of 30 volunteers going from cell to cell throughout the prison. On the back side of the card, there is a story about the true meaning of Christmas, and testimonies or advertisements of service. Also, on the card is an invitation to talk to Justice & Mercy if they have a problem with the criminal justice system. Justice & Mercy makes individual prison visits when time is available. Justice & Mercy’s intent is to send light and hope to inmates who may be struggling. In Matthew 25:36, Jesus said, “I was in prison and you visited me”. We want prisoners to know the Christian people care, that the Bible is truth, and Jesus can be their source for victory. It has been told that by passing out Whoopie Pies and personally greeting the inmates and staff that there is a big change in the atmosphere on that day and several days later. Justice & Mercy has had several inmates testify about how blessed they were by the Whoopie Pies and the Christmas Card. Please join us for this event on December 13, 2022.
