![]() When Justice & Mercy was invited to participate in Corrections Week at Lancaster County Prison to show employee appreciation with a line-up of programs, games and prizes, Justice & Mercy prayed that the Lord would prevail. “Every good and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” - James 1:17 Corrections Week began just two days following the first Justice & Mercy M2536P (Matthew 25:36 Project) volunteer group meeting. In less than four days Justice & Mercy was able to secure donations and gift cards from WDonuts “Dubs”, Gracies on West Main, Fox Meadows Creamery, Hershey Farm, Stone House Cafe, along with a few dozen homemade chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin and white chocolate raspberry cookies. Justice & Mercy was grateful for the opportunity to give a token of appreciation for the under recognized and challenging work provided by correction officers, staff and vendors at the prison. In closing, please remember the Lancaster County Warden, Deputy Warden, leadership team, correction officers, staff, and vendors in your prayers. Justice & Mercy - A voice for the incarcerated and a catalyst for prison reform is thankful for the next generation of spirit-filled M2536P (Matthew 25:36 Project) volunteers willing to serve on expanded service and new assignments.
